Gomez-Preston began dating model DeWayne Turrentine in 1995. Turrentine was at one time in the group Quo. The couple married in 1999. They have two children Scarlett Annette Turrentine (born May 13, 2007) and Tyger Turrentine (born April 2, 2011).
