Early Life and Background
Ramya Krishnan was born in a Tamil family, in Chennai. She had initial training in Bharathanatyam, Western and Kuchipudi dance forms and had given many stage performances. She is the niece of veteran Tamil comedian Cho Ramaswamy. In 2003, She married Telugu film director, Krishna Vamsi.
