Experimental Determination With Quantum Algorithm
A paper claiming that an experimental implementation of a quantum algorithm solving R(m,2) for 3 ≤ m ≤ 8 has been recently pre-published. The research team lead by Zhengbing Bian, of D-Wave Systems used 84 qubits, with a total of 28 qubits used for calculation.

Famous quotes containing the words experimental and/or quantum:
“Whenever a man acts purposively, he acts under a belief in some experimental phenomenon. Consequently, the sum of the experimental phenomena that a proposition implies makes up its entire bearing upon human conduct.”
—Charles Sanders Peirce (18391914)
“But how is one to make a scientist understand that there is something unalterably deranged about differential calculus, quantum theory, or the obscene and so inanely liturgical ordeals of the precession of the equinoxes.”
—Antonin Artaud (18961948)
