Ralph Sarich
Ralph Tony Sarich (born in Baskerville, WA, 10 December 1938) is a Western Australian businessman and engineer of Austrian/Croatian descent. His parents came to Australia pre 1930’s “Great Depression”. He is the inventor of the Orbital Engine and founder of the Orbital Engine Company (Australia) Pty Ltd which developed the Orbital Combustion Process (OCP) engine, based on the two stroke concept.
Ralph married Patricia (whom he had known for seven years) in September 1962. Her parents also migrated to Australia as little children from Britain after World War 1. Patricia was born in Kellerberrin, Western Australia. They have two children, Peter and Jennifer.
