Famous quotes containing the word production:

[T]he asphaltum contains an exactly requisite amount of sulphides for production of rubber tires. This brown material also contains “ichthyol,” a medicinal preparation used externally, in Webster’s clarifying phrase, “as an alterant and discutient.”
State of Utah, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

Every production of an artist should be the expression of an adventure of his soul.
    W. Somerset Maugham (1874–1965)

The problem of culture is seldom grasped correctly. Its aim points beyond earthly happiness: the production of great works is the aim of culture.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
