She graduated from Monarch High School in May 2003. While in high school she was a starting point guard for the girls basketball team. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She is also best friends with R&B singer Stacie Orrico (with whom she toured in 2001).
Lampa married singer/songwriter Brendan McCarthy on March 27, 2010.
