Famous quotes containing the word life:

Actors ought to be larger than life. You come across quite enough ordinary, nondescript people in daily life and I don’t see why you should be subjected to them on the stage too.
    Donald Sinden (b. 1923)

If I could do my life over, I would try to cleanse at least my pleasures of self-pity.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

    Half life is over now,
And I meet full face on dark mornings
    The bestial visor, bent in
By the blows of what happened to happen.
What does it prove? Sod all.
    Philip Larkin (1922–1986)
