Raw Iron
For the film's 25th anniversary, filmmakers David and Scott McVeigh tracked down the participants in Pumping Iron to follow up on their lives and see how the film's success had affected them personally and professionally. Famous quotes containing the words raw and/or iron:
“Knowledge in the form of an informational commodity indispensable to productive power is already, and will continue to be, a majorperhaps the majorstake in the worldwide competition for power. —Jean François Lyotard (b. 1924)
“However, there is a locked room up there
with an iron door that cant be opened.
It has all your bad dreams in it.
It is hell.”
—Anne Sexton (19281974)
