The President of Paraguay (officially in Spanish Excelentisimo Señor Presidente de la República del Paraguay) is according to the Paraguayan Constitution the Chief of the Executive branch of the Government of Paraguay. Therefore, the President is the Head of State and the Head of Government of the Republic of Paraguay.
The workplace of the President of Paraguay is the Palacio de los López, in Asuncion. The Presidential Residence is Mburuvichá Roga House, also in Asuncion.
Once Presidents leave office, they are granted by the Paraguayan Constitution the speaking-but-non-voting position of Senator for life.
