Post-Futurism (alternatively Postfuturism) is a term coined by Vivian Sobchack to describe certain science fiction films of the late 1970s and early 1980s, a genre of science fiction, an artistic movement, and an architectural movement. In the past the term has been used as a synonym for Postmodernism. HJMS are an electronic duo from North Carolina that considers there music part of a new genre of electronic music they deemed Post-Futurism. The music is heavenly influenced by the nature of human sexuality and violence. The content is conveyed through intricate drums and dark chords.
