Possession of 1 Oz or less is a misdemeanor, usually punished only with a fine, for up to three offenses; after the third offense, it becomes a felony with a one year mandatory minimum sentence. Possession of larger quantities, distribution, sale, delivery, and cultivation are felonies and often carry mandatory minimum jail terms.
