Philippine Internet Exchange

Philippine Internet eXchange (PhIX) is the first Internet Exchange Point in the Philippines.

It is a joint project of Philippine Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to interconnect through a common backbone or Internet Exchange Point (IX) for efficient infrastructure.

As of 2006 it was interconnecting eight (8) ISPs namely: Evoserve, Infocom, IPhil, Moscom, Pacific Internet, Tridel, Virtualink, and WorldTel in exchanging local Internet traffic and G-Net, Globe Telecom’s ISP, was in the process of joining the Philippine Internet eXchange.

Famous quotes containing the word exchange:

There is a delicate balance of putting yourself last and not being a doormat and thinking of yourself first and not coming off as selfish, arrogant, or bossy. We spend the majority of our lives attempting to perfect this balance. When we are successful, we have many close, healthy relationships. When we are unsuccessful, we suffer the natural consequences of damaged and sometimes broken relationships. Children are just beginning their journey on this important life lesson.
