Peter Som was born (1970) and raised in San Francisco, California by architect parents, who influenced him to start sketching at a young age. His obsession with fashion was fed in the 5th grade when he flipped through his sister’s fashion magazine. He instantly fell in love with the drama, intricacy, and the aesthetics that the fashion world is known for. He pursued his dream of becoming a fashion designer with diligence and is now one of America's most renowned fashion designers with a showroom located in the fashion capital of New York City.
