Pen Sovan

Pen Sovan, sometimes also spelt Pen Sovann (Khmer: ប៉ែន សុវណ្ណ, born April 15, 1936 in Chan Teap Village, Tram Prak, Takéo, Cambodia) was the first Prime Minister of the Hanoi-backed People's Republic of Kampuchea. He served from June 27, 1981 until December 5, 1981. And he was Secretary General of Kampuchean People's Revolutionary Party (KPRP, French acronym 'PRPK') from 1979 to 5 December 1981 . The KPRP was originally a Marxist-Leninist party.
