Pebbles was married to Smith Engineering & Contract Services exexcutive George L. Smith from 1983 to 1990, and they had a daughter, Ashley Victoria Smith(also known as Ashley Winzer and Ashley Reid) on January 29, 1983. The marriage caused scandal in the Danville, California community as Pebbles was dating Smith while he was still married and caring for his wife Darlene, who was dying of terminal cancer.
In 1989, Pebbles married Antonio "L.A." Reid, who co-founded LaFace Records with Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds that same year. Their son Aaron Alexander was born in November 1989. They divorced in 1996.
In 2000 she married former MLB playter Otis Nixon. they divorced in 2004.
On August 25, 2012, she married Excel Sharrieff, an entertainment lawyer in Beverly Hills.
