Early Life
Paul Tergat was born on June 17, 1969 in Riwo, Baringo District, in Kenya's Rift Valley Province. He attended Riwo Primary school and later joined Kapkawa Boys High School. Unlike many athletes, Tergat realized his talent after graduating high school.
