Famous quotes containing the word names:
“The world is a puzzling place today. All these banks sending us credit cards, with our names on them. Well, we didnt order any credit cards! We dont spend what we dont have. —Sarah Louise Delany (b. 1889)
“To you, more than to any others, the privilege is given, to assure that happiness [of saving the Union], and swell that grandeur, and to link your own names therewith forever.”
—Abraham Lincoln (18091865)
“There are names written in her immortal scroll at which Fame blushes!”
—William Hazlitt (17781830)
