Leadership
Members of Parliament elects it's speaker and deputy speakers in the first meeting of the parliament for one year. Every years, almost in May, election for a new leaders is to be held that incumbents can be re-elect.
The current Speaker of Parliament is Ali Larijani, with First Deputy Speaker Mohammad-Reza Bahonar and Second Deputy Speaker Masoud Mir Kazemi. The oppossition leader is Masoud Pezeshkian replacing with Mostafa Kavakebian.
