Pamarru

Pamarru is a panchayat village and Mandal in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Ramarao, was educated in this village.

This village was called as Pamulamarri and later Pamarri and now as Pamarru.

This village has a locally famous, old Shivalayam (Shiva temple).

NH214 starts from this place and connects to katthipudi .

Four roads junction in this village connects to Machilipatnam towards East, Vijayawada towards west, Avanigadda towards south and Gudivada towards north.

Mahatma Gandhi had visited this place during freedom struggle twice.

When entering this village from vijayawada you can find beautiful green fields on one side and pulleru which is a stream of water from river krishna on the other side.

Famous historical places like Hamsaladeevi (Krishan rivers joins Bay of Bengal), Srikakulam (place where srikrishna devaraya wrote amukthamalyada - srikakuleswara temple) are close to this place.

Gaffar Center is famous business cirle of the village.
