The painted terrapin, painted batagur, or saw-jawed turtle (Batagur borneoensis) is a species of turtle in the Geoemydidae family. It was formerly in its own genus, Callagur, but has been reclassified to the genus, Batagur.
It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Famous quotes containing the word painted:
“When the painted birds laugh in the shade,
When our table with cherries and nuts is spread:
Come live, and be merry, and join with me
To sing the sweet chorus of Ha, ha, he!”
—William Blake (17571827)
