A well taken penalty by Lauren Allison and a sublime finish from Stacey Coles five minutes from time saw Oxford United overcome their opponents Henley Town ladies 2-1 in front of a packed house at Bicester Town FC. "Credit must go to the girls for the win," said ladies boss Ben Thomas after the historical win.
However, despite the victory the United Ladies didn't have it all their own way on a very hot, humid and sunny Sunday afternoon in Bicester.
