Outram Park MRT Station (EW16/NE3/TS17) is an interchange station of the North East Line and the East West Line in Singapore. It is located in the Central Area, Singapore's central business district. Before Tiong Bahru was refurbished in 2006, it was the last MRT Station that had Chinese characters on its station livery on the East West Line (heading to Joo Koon).
Opening in 2021, Outram Park station will be a triple-line interchange station with a new line, Thomson Line, similar to Dhoby Ghaut.

Famous quotes containing the words park and/or station:
“and the words never said,
And the ominous, ominous dancing ahead.
We sat in the car park till twenty to one
And now Im engaged to Miss Joan Hunter Dunn.”
—Sir John Betjeman (19061984)
“How soon country people forget. When they fall in love with a city it is forever, and it is like forever. As though there never was a time when they didnt love it. The minute they arrive at the train station or get off the ferry and glimpse the wide streets and the wasteful lamps lighting them, they know they are born for it. There, in a city, they are not so much new as themselves: their stronger, riskier selves.”
—Toni Morrison (b. 1931)
