Organization of The United States Coast Guard - Coast Guard Sectors

Coast Guard Sectors

Within each District, large operational shore-side units known as Sectors are responsible for mission execution within their area of responsibility. Famous quotes containing the words coast and/or guard:

Too many Broadway actors in motion pictures lost their grip on success—had a feeling that none of it had ever happened on that sun-drenched coast, that the coast itself did not exist, there was no California. It had dropped away like a hasty dream and nothing could ever have been like the things they thought they remembered.
    Mae West (1892–1980)

I guard this box, as I would the instrumental parts of my religion, to help my mind on to something better.
    Laurence Sterne (1713–1768)
