It was written by Bryan Michael Cox, Thabiso "Tab" Nkhereanye, and The Clutch members Ezekiel Lewis, Balewa Muhammad, and Candice Nelson for her second studio album, Fantasia (2006), with production handled by the former. Released as the album's third and final single, it entered the Billboard Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at number seventy-six, just one week after its release. The song peaked at number thirty-six on the same chart.
