OMV

OMV (formerly "Österreichische Mineralölverwaltung", ÖMV), is an integrated international oil and gas company, headquartered in Vienna. OMV’s main business is in Exploration & Production (E&P), Gas & Power (G&P) and Refining & Marketing (R&M). With group sales of more than € 34 billion (2011) and a global workforce of around 30,000 (2011), OMV is the largest listed manufacturing company in Austria.

In 2011, OMV produced around 800,000 tonnes of oil and 1.3 billion cubic meters (BCM) of gas in Austria. This corresponds to 86% and 83% of Austria’s total production respectively.
