Omphalocarpum
Omphalocarpum (='navel fruit') is a genus of plants belonging to the family Sapotaceae, and was first described in 1800 by Palisot de Beauvois in Ventenat, Bull. Sci. Soc. Philom. Paris 2: 146. It is synonymous with Ituridendron De Wild. and Vanderystia De Wild. The genus is confined to tropical Africa.Read more about Omphalocarpum.
