Speech & Debate Team
Old Scona has one of the most competitive debate clubs in all of Alberta, winning numerous awards at regional, provincial and national competitions. The students do not only excel in the tournaments; they encourage the activity throughout the school and their community. Currently there is a Speech & Debate 15 class taught by four senior debaters and the current Old Scona debate coach. The Speech & Debate Team is a unique program that is only offered at Old Scona.
