Ohio State Route 568

State Route 568 (SR 568, OH 568) is an east–west state highway in the northwestern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. The western terminus of this highway is at a signalized intersection in downtown Findlay where it meets State Route 12 and State Route 37. The eastern terminus of State Route 568 is in downtown Carey at a signalized intersection that serves as all of the northern split of the U.S. Route 23/State Route 103 duplex, the western split of the State Route 103/State Route 199 duplex and the southern split of the U.S. Route 23/State Route 199 duplex.

State Route 568 was created in the middle of the 1960s. The entire length of this two-lane highway is part of the former alignment of State Route 15, which was realigned onto a new expressway from Findlay to Carey at that time.

Famous quotes containing the words ohio, state and/or route:

Heaven is not one of your fertile Ohio bottoms, you may depend on it.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The essence of the modern state is that the universal be bound up with the complete freedom of its particular members and with private well-being, that thus the interests of family and civil society must concentrate themselves on the state.... It is only when both these moments subsist in their strength that the state can be regarded as articulated and genuinely organized.
    Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831)

    A Route of Evanescence
    With a revolving Wheel—
    Emily Dickinson (1830–1886)
