Greece

The Prime Minister of Greece currently used a heavy armoured, custom-built W221 Mercedes-Benz S600 escorted by custom built Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicles. George Papandreou displaced it with a standard Toyota Prius. On official events the car of the state president was used.

Past PMs have also used a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Long-Wheelbase Limousine. The president, also, uses a W221 Mercedes-Benz S600, wearing the Greek coat of arms. The monarchs in 1930s were using a Maybach Zeppelin.

Famous quotes containing the word greece:

    When a man hath no freedom to fight for at home,
    Let him combat for that of his neighbors;

    George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)

    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
