    • Game 2: Boston Red Sox 2–1 Colorado Rockies, Red Sox lead series 2–0.
      • Mike Lowell proves to be the difference-maker for the Red Sox, scoring on a Jason Varitek sacrifice fly in the 4th inning and then driving David Ortiz in with a double in the 5th.
