Famous quotes containing the word history:

Systematic philosophical and practical anti-intellectualism such as we are witnessing appears to be something truly novel in the history of human culture.
    Johan Huizinga (1872–1945)

The second day of July 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. John Adams (1735–1826)

    Wyndham Lewis (1882–1957)
