Involvement in Crime
President of Notorious Allan Sarkis denies his club being involved in organised crime and denies any knowledge of a feud with other gangs, He claims the club has a very strict policy on drugs, even though Notorious members as young as 14 have been charged with possession and drugs supply. In an exclusive interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Sarkis stated:
"Linking us to drugs, or the drug trade, is way out of line. We want to be acknowledged and respected as a motorcycle club, not as gangsters."

Famous quotes containing the words involvement in, involvement and/or crime:
“Juggling produces both practical and psychological benefits.... A womans involvement in one role can enhance her functioning in another. Being a wife can make it easier to work outside the home. Being a mother can facilitate the activities and foster the skills of the efficient wife or of the effective worker. And employment outside the home can contribute in substantial, practical ways to how one works within the home, as a spouse and as a parent.”
—Faye J. Crosby (20th century)
“Not only do our wives need support, but our children need our deep involvement in their lives. If this period [the early years] of primitive needs and primitive caretaking passes without us, it is lost forever. We can be involved in other ways, but never again on this profoundly intimate level.”
—Augustus Y. Napier (20th century)
“Lady Dellwyn ... for the first time began to entertain some suspicions that she had a heart to bestow. Not that she was actuated by that romantic passion which creates indifference to every other object and makes all happiness to consist in pleasing the beloved person, [but] only overstraining delicacy so much as to feel it almost a crime to charm any other.”
—Sarah Fielding (17101768)
