North Sumatra

North Sumatra (Indonesian: Sumatera Utara) is a province of Indonesia on Sumatra Island. Its capital is Medan, on the northeast coast. It is the most populous Indonesian province outside of Java. It is slightly larger than Sri Lanka in area.
