Student Life
In addition to opportunities in athletics and fine arts, students at NRCA participate in a number of other extracurricular activities. Some of these include:
- student led prayer groups where students meet together for prayer prior to the opening of each school day.
- student council where elected class representatives from each class in grades 6-12.
- community service projects where students of all ages take part in service projects for several organizations including Samaritan's Purse, House of Hope, and the Raleigh Rescue Mission.
- junior/senior banquet where the junior class hosts a formal banquet for the senior class
- senior trip where each year the senior class travels to Europe for 10 days
- winter ski getaway where each winter students travel for a spiritual renewal time accompanied by skiing and fellowship and
- ACSI middle and high school leadership conference. Students chosen from grades 6-12 attend this trip for the encouraging and training student leaders.

Famous quotes containing the words student and/or life:
“It is clear that everybody interested in science must be interested in world 3 objects. A physical scientist, to start with, may be interested mainly in world 1 objectssay crystals and X-rays. But very soon he must realize how much depends on our interpretation of the facts, that is, on our theories, and so on world 3 objects. Similarly, a historian of science, or a philosopher interested in science must be largely a student of world 3 objects.”
—Karl Popper (19021994)
“So long as the system of competition in the production and exchange of the means of life goes on, the degradation of the arts will go on; and if that system is to last for ever, then art is doomed, and will surely die; that is to say, civilization will die.”
—William Morris (18341896)
