Nickelodeon Suites Resort (a.k.a. Nick Hotel), formerly known as Nickelodeon Family Suites, is a kid-centered hotel in Orlando, Florida, near the Universal Orlando Resort and one mile from Walt Disney World Resort.
It is known for both its Nickelodeon themed rooms and its two waterparks. You can splash, slide, and dive in the Lagoon Pool & Oasis Pool with heated pools, 13 slides and flumes, interactive water towers, poolside games and activities, private cabanas and daily poolside shows with green slime. It is also home to, among other amenities, a "mall" with a Nickelodeon-brand retail shop, a convenience store, an assortment of fast-food restaurants such as Subway, Uno Chicago Grill and A&W, and two buffets; a "4-D Theater" which showcases SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D, the aforementioned waterpark-style pools, and a relic from Nickelodeon history: the time capsule that was buried outside the former Nickelodeon Studios complex at nearby Universal Studios Florida.

Famous quotes containing the word resort:
“If the worker and his boss enjoy the same television program and visit the same resort places, if the typist is as attractively made up as the daughter of her employer, if the Negro owns a Cadillac, if they all read the same newspaper, then this assimilation indicates not the disappearance of classes, but the extent to which the needs and satisfactions that serve the preservation of the Establishment are shared by the underlying population.”
—Herbert Marcuse (18981979)
