Nick Pollotta is an American author. Best known for his SF/Humor novel, "Illegal Aliens (w/Phil Foglio), Fantasy/Humor novel "Bureau 13", and Fantasy/Humor novel "That Darn Squid God" (w/Phil Foglio). The majority of his work has been published by Gold Eagle Books under house names "James Axler" and "Don Pendelton".

A former stand-up comic, he lives in Chicago with his wife, Melissa.
