Newarthill

Newarthill is a village in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, situated roughly three miles north-east of the town of Motherwell. It has a population of around 7,800. The Member of Parliament for the local area is Pamela Nash. The Member of the Scottish Parliament for the local area is Michael McMahon. Nash is elected to the constituency of Airdrie and Shotts in Westminster whilst McMahon is elected to the constituency of Hamilton North and Bellshill in the Scottish Parliament.
