It was also rated as the 7th most ethnically diversified university among universities in this category and as one of the best public national universities in the country. It was ranked by US News & World Report (2011) as 139th (Tier-1) overall and the 5th most ethnically diversified National University. It was ranked 138th among National Universities in 2012.
