NBA Street V3 has received critical praise, with GameSpy's Will Tuttle saying that NBA Street V3 "just might be the most entertaining basketball game ever", Gamespot's Bob Colyaco hailing it as "the new king of the court as far as arcade basketball games go", and IGN's Jon Robinson saying NBA Street V3 is "the best of the series by far".
