Cardiac Care
Created in partnership with the North Shore-LIJ Health System, NuHealth Cardiac Care is staffed by a team of heart specialists with the most advanced training in all aspects of cardiac care. Providing a broader array of cardiac services than ever before to Nassau University Medical Center, the NuHealth Cardiac Care Center offers specialized cardiac services from advanced therapy for congestive heart failure to catheterization, defibrillator and pacemaker implantation. The Heart Imaging Center offers enhanced diagnostics, including a new 320-slice CT Scan, nuclear stress testing, 2D, and transesophageal echo (TEE).

Women’s Care
The comprehensively equipped Women’s Care practice at NUMC offers a full range of services from general obstetrics and gynecology to infertility, high-risk obstetrics, urorgynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, minimally invasive surgery, breast health and gynecologic oncology (cancer). A 2011 recipient of the Healthgrade Maternity Care Excellence Award, NuHealth Women’s Care offers an integrated approach that delivers the full range of services in a caring, respectful environment. Maintaining Long Island’s Lowest Caesarean Section Rate, the Women’s Center, which features Long Island’s only water-birthing tub, is staffed with experienced nurses specialized in neonatal resuscitation, advanced cardiac life support and fetal monitoring.
