Nakrekal

Nakrekal is a Town and Municipality under Nalgonda district in India and has a population of 50,000 as of 2010. It is located along the Indian National Highway No. 9, about 27 km (17 mi). from the district headquarters at the town of Nalgonda. Nakrekal has a significant influence on the villages surrounding it. Children from many villages travel to Nakrekal every day to go to government schools. It is an important source of common goods like oil, consumer items, pumpsets and other farm machinery for the village folk. It also forms an immediate market for their agricultural produce.
