The Faculty of Dentistry at Minia University (MUDH) was established in 1997. It was the first Egyptian college with dentistry specialization outside Greater Cairo. Since that time, the college has trained dental specialists for a wide geographical area covering the whole of Upper Egypt, and has treated many patients. Recently, the college has undertaken a project of upgrading its IT systems, including increasing access to global digital resources.
