Claim That Mohammed Yusif Yaqub "returned To The Battlefield"
On May 14, 2007 Commander Jeffrey Gordon claimed that there had been thirty former captives who returned to the battlefield. Mohammed Yusif Yaqub was one of the six men he explicitly named.
Reuters quoted Gordon about Mohammed Yusif Yaqub:
