Science, Math, and Technology Center
The Science, Mathematics, and Technology Specialty Center housed at Mills E. Godwin High School opened in the fall of 1994. The Center promotes and supports the expansion of opportunities for high school students, provides unique and innovative learning opportunities, and helps meet the continually changing needs of the diverse student population in Henrico County. There is a rigorous application process that must be completed to be accepted into this competitive center. The Specialty Center provides qualified students the opportunity to pursue their special interests while completing requirements for graduation. Specialty Center students are required to enter science fair competitions at least once a year.
