Route Description
The Skyway begins in Barangay San Isidro, Makati City, and ends with the NAIA Expressway in the Parclo intersection of SLEX (South Luzon Expressway) and the Sales Road in Makati. The Skyway will be rerouted with the assemblage of the entrance ramps shortly after crossing the C-5 Road Exits in Merville, Paranaque City. The Skyway will then follow the route of SLEX, sending down exit and entrance ramps on selected exits in SLEX until it ends in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Famous quotes containing the words route and/or description:
“A route differs from a road not only because it is solely intended for vehicles, but also because it is merely a line that connects one point with another. A route has no meaning in itself; its meaning derives entirely from the two points that it connects. A road is a tribute to space. Every stretch of road has meaning in itself and invites us to stop. A route is the triumphant devaluation of space, which thanks to it has been reduced to a mere obstacle to human movement and a waste of time.”
—Milan Kundera (b. 1929)
“As they are not seen on their way down the streams, it is thought by fishermen that they never return, but waste away and die, clinging to rocks and stumps of trees for an indefinite period; a tragic feature in the scenery of the river bottoms worthy to be remembered with Shakespeares description of the sea-floor.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
