Famous quotes containing the words college, art and/or design:

    Training is everything. The peach was once a bitter almond; cauliflower is nothing but cabbage with a college education.

    They tell me, Lucy, thou art dead,
    That all of thee we loved and cherished
    Has with thy summer roses perished;
    And left, as its young beauty fled,
    An ashen memory in its stead.
    John Greenleaf Whittier (1807–1892)

    Teaching is the perpetual end and office of all things. Teaching, instruction is the main design that shines through the sky and earth.
