Marky Ramone - Musical Career

Musical Career

Marc Bell started playing drums in 1971 with one of the first heavy metal bands in America, Dust, which included Kenny Aaronson on bass and Richie Wise on guitar, and was produced by Kenny Kerner. Famous quotes containing the words musical and/or career:

Syncopations are no indication of light or trashy music, and to shy bricks at “hateful ragtime” no longer passes for musical culture.
    Scott Joplin (1868–1917)

The problem, thus, is not whether or not women are to combine marriage and motherhood with work or career but how they are to do so—concomitantly in a two-role continuous pattern or sequentially in a pattern involving job or career discontinuities.
    Jessie Bernard (20th century)
