Mark Hamill - Voice Acting

Voice Acting

Mark Hamill has gained a reputation as a prolific voice actor. He previously did voice acting work in the Ralph Bakshi film Wizards, where he played "Sean, leader of the Knights of Stardust", which was released just three months before Star Wars in 1977. Though the voice-role he is most known for is Batman's arch-nemesis the Joker, his success as the Joker has led him to portray a wide variety of characters (mostly villainous) in television, film, anime, and video games. Mark Hamill was also the voice of The Hobgoblin in the 1990s Spider-Man cartoon series.

Famous quotes containing the words voice and/or acting:

Her voice is thin and her moan is high,
And her cackling laugh or her barking cold
Bring terror to the young and old.
    O Molly, Molly, Molly Means
Lean is the ghost of Molly Means.
    Margaret Abigail Walker (b. 1915)

It especially helps if you know that we’re all faking our adulthood—even your parents and their parents. Beneath these adult trappings—in our president, in our parents, in you and me—lurk the emotions of a child. If we know that only about ourselves, we become infantile; if we understand that about everybody, then we have nothing to be ashamed of—unless, of course, we go around acting like a child and expecting everyone else to act like grownups.
    Frank Pittman (20th century)
