Military Career According To Sources

What is known of Artorius comes from inscriptions on fragments of a sarcophagus, and a memorial plaque, found in Podstrana, on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia. Famous quotes containing the words military, career and/or sources:

We’re in greater danger today than we were the day after Pearl Harbor. Our military is absolutely incapable of defending this country.
    Ronald Reagan (b. 1911)

The 19-year-old Diana ... decided to make her career that of wife. Today that can be a very, very iffy line of work.... And what sometimes happens to the women who pursue it is the best argument imaginable for teaching girls that they should always be able to take care of themselves.

    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
