Louisiana Highway 607 - Route Description

Route Description

LA 607 begins at a 3-way intersection with US 65. It briefly heads due east from the intersection before turning northeast and continues northeast for the rest of its length. LA 607 does not intersect any local roads between US 65 and LA 605. The highway ends at a 3-way intersection with LA 605; the road splits into two sections for the interchange. The two sections are designed to direct drivers either northbound or southbound on LA 605. A triangular traffic island separates the two sections and LA 605. LA 607 has no local name and is an undivided two-lane road for its entire length. The entire road is within a mile of Lake Bruin.

Famous quotes containing the words route and/or description:

A route differs from a road not only because it is solely intended for vehicles, but also because it is merely a line that connects one point with another. A route has no meaning in itself; its meaning derives entirely from the two points that it connects. A road is a tribute to space. Every stretch of road has meaning in itself and invites us to stop. A route is the triumphant devaluation of space, which thanks to it has been reduced to a mere obstacle to human movement and a waste of time.
    Milan Kundera (b. 1929)

An intentional object is given by a word or a phrase which gives a description under which.
Gertrude Elizabeth Margaret Anscombe (b. 1919)
